PROOF OF PURCHASE


Portraits of Ireland Ltd will send you a confirmation of your orders (both preliminary work and final art work if it's a commission, or for purchase of an existing work) via email if you have included an email address with your order. If you have not included an email address, you will receive a confirmation of your order by regular mail when your order is shipped.

 

CUSTOM PRODUCT


We are pleased to offer a product that is custom-configured to your specifications, and we encourage you to communicate extensively with your chosen artist. Since the art work is created to your specifications and in the style of the artist you have chosen, the order can only be changed, modified, or canceled at the discretion of your chosen artist, once your order is in production.

We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Our custom, personalized art works may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances unless damaged on arrival.

 

ORDER PROCESSING (Commissioned Work)

 

The delivery date requested by the customer and stated on commission agreements is an estimate for the dispatch of completed works and is a good faith projection of the works completion. Portraits of Ireland Ltd nor participating Artists can not be held in remiss for failing to meet this approximate date. The customer will be notified by email or regular mail at the earliest opportunity if the estimated date for completion will not be met. Prior to order dispatch Portraits of Ireland and participating Artists have the right to cancel any order at will and for any reason. In such a case the customer will have all monies returned to them within 28 days of cancellation.

 

ORDER PROCESSING (Existing Work)


The estimated shipment date on your order is based on its availability, payment processing time, and does not include transit time. Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need and full payment or a full authorization, in the case of credit cards.

Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will begin payment processing the next business day.

Orders for works in-stock are dispatched within 48 hours, pending payment processing. Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will begin payment processing the next business day. Unanticipated changes in supply can affect product availability. You can confirm the estimated shipping lead time by logging into your account at the "Order Review" page for the most current availability information.

 

All Orders

Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail or An Post. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in either Northern or the Republic of Ireland depending on your order.

Overnight shipping is not available.

Signature is required for delivery:
Our shipments contain valuable art. If you will not be at the shipping address to accept delivery of your painting, consider shipping it to an address where someone you trust will be available to sign for your delivery. Please note that we are not able to adjust the shipping address once a package has left the artists location. Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on delivery.

Undeliverable Packages: Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, please contact us to make arrangements for reshipment.

 

PAYMENT METHODS


Credit Card
You may pay by credit card. At the time your order is placed, POI obtains a pre-approval from the credit card company for the amount of the order. Credit card billing occurs when you accept a quote for preliminary work, and/or a quote for the work of art, or if you decide to purchase an existing piece.
